Unbeaten jr welterweight contender Denis Shafikov (22-0, 12 KOs) successfully stepped up in class to defeat battle-tested veteran Fernando Trejo (30-16-4, 18 KOs) over twelve rounds on Saturday night at the Urheilutalo in Helsinki, Finland. Scores were 117-111, 116-112 and 116-112. The bout was for the IBO I/C belt.

In a bout for his IBO International welterweight title, upset artist Roman Seliverstov (11-8, 2 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over former world title challenger Cosme Rivera (31-13-2, 22 KOs). Scores were 116-112, 119-111 and 117-111. Seliverstov is also the BBU welterweight champion.

Heavyweight Attila Levin (33-3, 26 KOs) scored a third round TKO against overmatched Leri Okhanashvili (7-6-2).

In a wild battle of unbeaten middleweights, Niko Jokinen (7-0, 4 KOs) got by Cliff Soukka (5-1, 1 KO). Jokinen took an eight count in round one and Soukka was on the canvas in round two. When the dust settled, Jokinen won on points 58-54, 58-54 and 58-54.

Lightweight Edis Tatli (8-0, 1 KO) won a six-rounder over Alex Bone (4-6-1) by scores of 59-55, 60-56, 59-56.

Heavyweight Vladimir Tereshkin (11-0-1, 6 KOs) dismissed Aleksandrs Selezens (3-8) in round two.

Lightweight Roman Andreev (7-0, 6 KOs) blitzed Tuomo Eronen (2-2) in two rounds.
